Excited to be editing and creating
Today I tackled two kinds of writing: editing the novel I've finished, Prague for Beginners, and working on my new untitled novel.
One of my editors sent me some very well-thought-out editorial suggestions, which I am going through one-by-one, for Prague for Beginners. This is close work, time-consuming and necessary. Twelve pages of it wore me out.
Then I opened the file of the novel I'm working on. I caught up with myself and smoothly entered into about 20 minutes of slight revision and new words. It was so satisfying and enjoyable.
Now I am ready for the rest of my day, holding onto the good feeling of progress on two fronts.
