Europe in all its glory

We just got back from three weeks in Copenhagen, Prague, and South Bohemia. The weather was hot, or cloudy, or rainy, or cool, or sunny--take your pick. We saw friends, did business, and visited a Hradek Zamek (Castle Small Castle, in English). I'll be putting up my 400+ photos in the weeks to come.

For today's post, here I am at the entrance to the Hradek Zamek. It's a small castle (chateau) with a long history. The Communist rulers of 1948-1989 let it fall into neglect, but an effort begun in 2010 and still going strong has made most of the buildings grand again.
